Lightbox usage with images and video

    Hi,

I am working on a mockup for a new project.

I use images on my LayerSliders slide and want to allow users to click on the image and get a Lightbox of the image. It works ok but when I use keys to scroll to multiple images, the slider skips to the next/prev slide on the background. Also when I have 2 images on slide 1 and 2 images on slide 2, the Lightbox next/prev shows all images on both slides. I want to show only the 2 images in Lightbox on slide 1 and 2 images in Lightbox on slide 2. Is this possible?

One other question. When I add a video layer and I click on the top left corner of the video the video disappears behind the other layers. I want the video in a Lightbox as well. See attachments.

    Hi Freek,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is John and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

You can easily solve the navigation issue with the arrow keys by disabling keyboard navigation under Slider Settings -> Slideshow.

As far as I can tell, the Lightbox plugin loads and searches the images automatically within the slider. To separate the image from the different slides, you need to create separate galleries. If your Lightbox solution offers an option for that, it should work as expected. However, these plugins usually require users to have different data-* attributes applied on the affected elements, so you can tell the Lightbox plugin which images belongs together.

We have a FancyBox tutorial for that on the following URL: https://layerslider.kreaturamedia.com/documentation/#integration-guides

Unfortunately, there are a number of different Lightbox products and different implementations, so I can't give a definitive answer for this questions. It depends on the Lightbox plugin itself and the options it offers.

Concerning the media layer: it works for me as expected, I wasn't able to reproduce the issue. On which device and OS version do you experience this issue? The only problem I've noticed that not all browser supports the video format you're using right now. For the recommended formats, please refer to our online documentation on the following URL: https://layerslider.kreaturamedia.com/documentation/#builder-layer-media
