How do I specify duration of a TEXT LAYER within one single slide. Say the slide duration is 8 seconds, but I want the TEXT to fade out at the 5 second mark.
Its provably in front of my pace but I'm spending to much time and cannot figure it out.
Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.
You are looking for the Layers -> Transitions -> Ending (Text) Transition -> Timing & Transform box. You can specify there when should the layer leave the slide.
Thank you Attila; I feel like an idiot as I still cant make it work something that should be easy enough. Can you provide me a detail example as to what settings to use for fading out TEXT before the slide ends... ie; A TEXT Layer to start with the slide but to end after 4000ms . Slide is 6000ms duration.
I know I have to click TEXT Ending Text Trasition, but where do I enter 4000ms under TIMING & TRANSFORM?
I believe was able to make the last letter fade out, but don't know why/how that is happending.
You will need to use the Start when , with modifier and Duration options of the Ending Transition section. I'd recommend to utilize the Timeline view. It shows you the timings and how the layers are aligning exactly compared to the slide and each other.
There are many source materials available you can check, that will help you get started using LayerSlider. The documentation contains detailed information and examples that you can read on the following URL: https://support.kreaturamedia.com/docs/layersliderwp/documentation.html You can also read the interactive tooltip & notification messages integrated into the Slider Builder interface, with descriptions of the settings by hovering over each one of them. Finally, you can import the demo sliders from the Template Store to see what settings we used and how we set them up exactly.
Thank you Attila - I think I'm finally making progress, but what question remains. Why would the " Timeline" appear empty when clicking Timeline on any of the Slides under one of my Sliders? Here some images before / after pressing TIMELINE. Also showing the several Slides with all containing TEXT. Could it be corrupted? THanks
Yes, that seems to be a conflict problem. Most likely by a 3rd party plugin or theme. Please try to temporary disable other plugins and switch to a default WP theme to see if that solves the issue.
Please also check the LayerSlider System Status, located in the Options menu on the WP sidebar, to see if there are any errors, just to rule out server problems.
