Bought License, killed my slider completely

Bought license because slider stopped working.  Figured it was because of an old slider version that came with a purchased theme.  I think it might be because I updated WordPress to 5.0.3.  Is the LayerSlider WP not up-to-date with current software requirements?

Also, since I bought the license to be able to update, I now how two LayerSlider WP plugins available with the old one deactivated.  Confusingly activating it, when WordPress says it is a "required" plugin, causes a fatal error and WordPress stops the execution.

What seemed to be a simple process has been quite a let down with a currently broken live slider.

I see last update to this plugin was about nine months ago.  If you can at least answer when it will be compatible with current, secure software, I can make the decision whether or not to get a refund and choose a different slider that is reliable and currently being maintained.

    Hello Scott,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

LayerSlider is 100% compatible with the latest WordPress, PHP and other common item versions. Also, as I can see you are still not using the latest release. First of all, please update it to the newest version, which is 6.7.6.

Regarding the slider not working. Judging from the errors on your site (you can see them in the browser console) the problem is most likely related to an image preloader or similar item/function on your installation, that is interfering with the slider.

We'd recommend to temporary disable other plugins and switch to a default WP theme to see if that solves the issue. If it does, you can turn them back one by one to see which one is interfering.

If you are using Jetpack, we'd recommend to start with that. We had several issues with it in the past, as it interferes with the slider's content, preventing it from loading.
