Hi, I am using Google Nunito font but it's loading in my sliders. I even use plugins to load Google Font locally and still my sliders substitute Nunito font with Times. Is there something I have to do to get this works?

    Thanks,

    - JN

    Hello JN,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

Have you loaded this font in the plugin's Google Font tab too ? Also, have you applied the font on the text layer in its Styles tab ? You have to load the font to the plugin's back-end too, apply it on the layer, and make sure that font is also available in your front-end.

    I have the following questions:

    1. What do you mean plugin's Google Font tab? We have found that loading Google Font from its server taking a long time. So we are using the plugins CAOS for WebFont to load google font locally from our server. Everything works find except LayerSlider that couldn't see the font. https://wordpress.org/plugins/host-webfonts-local/
    2. We are using SVG format for our graphics to make it faster to load and sharper. Those graphics if I select its layers and put Nunito in the Styles box in layerslider it won't show up the right font.
    3. In the Custom CSS box it say we could custom our CSS. I know how to write CSS but don't have to include a selector or class before I could define it? But what selector and what class are we talking around here. If you could give me some screenshot on how that works I might figure out.

    Thanks,

The LayerSlider WP -> Options -> Google Fonts tab. You can load the fonts to the plugin there. But if you're using a custom solution to directly load fonts to your site, that should also work.

I do not believe that there is any need for CSS when applying a simple font. Did you specify the font family for the text layers in their Styles tab ? If you do that, the slider will pick up any font from the site even if it's not loaded to its admin. You just have to enter the correct font name to its font field. Also, watch out for the apostrophes if your font name contains white spaces, and also for the commas.
