After updating LayerSlider WP premium, we have several errors aparently Jquery is not working any longer. In fact, we have issues with native wp tools, like adding users. The password dialogue is not working (jquery dependant). Any hints?

    Thank you

    Hello Ana,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

I have checked your site, but I do not see jQuery errors currently. But jQuery errors usually mean that your jQuery is not loaded or not in the right way. LayerSlider needs it be loaded in the header to be able to display the slider properly. If you're not familiar with jQuery you can try to use the "Include scripts in the footer" advanced setting to see if that helps.

There are also mixed content errors on your site. They might be also preventing the sliders from working properly. Please read the following part of the documentation: https://layerslider.kreaturamedia.com/documentation/#troubleshooting-https  It provides tips on how to solve HTTPS/mixed content problems on your site.

    Hello Attila,

thank you for you answer. I will look after mix content errors.

on the other side, I have trouble with  all sliders of my domain. They are not responsive but only scale down. In the individual configuration of each slider  responsive mode is set. what can be the reason here?

    thank you,

    Ana

What are your layout settings exactly for these faulty sliders ? In fullwidth and fullsized modes you might need some adjustments for the desired result.

I enclose a screenshot of the layout configuration. Could you tell me what additional settings I need for the sliders to be really responsive?

    thanks

Thank you. The default Responsive slider layout is fully responsive. What problem are you experiencing exactly with it ? I've checked the slider on your homepage and it's properly resizing for me. The slider and its content scales for all screen sizes, while keeping their aspect ratio.

the problem is that on a mobile phone, slider texts cannot be read, while the transition buttons remain the same size as in full width.

Looking at this slider of yours when you see it with a mobile phone, there is no reading problem. https://layerslider.kreaturamedia.com/sliders/shoes/

how can I do in cofiguration slider for solve this problem?

    Thank you,

    Ana

Thank you for the feedback. There are multiple methods that you can use to address this.

Since version 6 of LS you have the option to display layers only on certain devices (desktop, mobile, tablet). This feature gives you the option to create separate layers and layouts for mobile and desktop view in the same slide, and only show them on the required device. With this method you can set up different sized layers for mobile and desktop. Furthermore, you also have the option to set a minimum font size for texts on mobiles.

Additionally to the device specific layers, you could also build two sliders with different sizes or with different content for dekstop/mobile, include them both to the site, and only display them (using the Hide over and Hide under options) on the required device.
