I have selected play by scroll on my site and it is incredibly slow to load. You can try scroll for up to 15 seconds sometimes before the scrolling actually starts and works.

I've checked your site and there seems to be a custom scrolling method being used on it. I'm not exactly sure what is applying it, most likely your theme/builder, but could be a plugin or script as well. This custom scrolling method is interfering with the slider's play by scroll effect, causing this jumping issue. Please try to locate this custom scrolling method and disable it, or exclude the slider from it. That should solve the problem.
Would it be possible for you to help me identify where the scrolling issues lies? I can't seem to find out what scrolling method is causing the issue. I have also tried disabling plugins. LayerSlider does come bundled with the enfold theme that I am using so I'm confused as to why it is not compatible? please see here: www.redeemingfire.com

What could be the issue?
I have managed to get it to load faster by removing the short-code that calls it and instead used the "Advanced LayerSlider" element Enfold offers.
It now let's scroll to about half way on the page before it jumps back to the slider and then starts. How do I fix this?
