Limited availability during the holidays
Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2025, to January 4th, 2026, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.
We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!
Hi,
I just tried to add the parallax option to my brand new slider, but it doesn't work....
I bascially just went to the slider, pressed the "more options" button and tried playing around with the parallax options, but nothing changes at all, there is no parallax effect on the page...
What am I missing or what's the problem?
Hello nameless__,
Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.
What parallax effect would you like to achieve exactly ? There are different parallax types that you can use, and they are located in different places in the plugin. The one you mentioned is just modifying the default parallax values of the layers on that slide. But if you don't have any parallax layers on that slide, it will not have any effect.
If you're looking to set up parallax effect for layers, you will have to enable the parallax transition for them, and configure the parallax behavior after that. Either globally for that slider in the Slider Settings, or the place you mentioned for a single slide, or for each layer individually in the Layers -> Transitions tab.
And if you want your slider to have the parallax/fixed scroll effect, you can set that in the Slider Settings -> Appearance tab with the Background behavior option. Please note, this only works with a global background applied.
Currently, there is no separate option to set the speed of the Ken Burns effect, but you can control it with the Scale option. The larger the value the faster it will zoom, and the lower the value the slower the animation will be.
They simply used the mentioned Scale option. If you pick the correct scale value and apply the proper slide duration, you can achieve the exact same zoom effect.
