I have several licenses of the Layerslider for Wordpress. In all this cases a layer with images does not work with firefox. layers with text work well. The Layer work with internet explorer.

    I hope for help.

    Hello Rolf Gärtner,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

Please show us your site or a test page with the slider where we can check on this. Thank you.

Thank you. Judging from the errors on your site (you can see them in the browser console) we believe that the problem is going to be related to an image preloader or similar item/function on your installation.

We'd recommend to temporary disable other plugins and switch to a default WP theme to see if that solves the issue. If it does, you can turn them back one by one to see which one is interfering.

If you are using Jetpack, I'd recommend to start with that. We had several issues with it in the past, as it interferes with the slider's content.

    The problem is not solved.

Now i got the mail "Eine automatische Aktualisierung für dieses Plugin ist nicht verfügbar" , that means i have to upload and install the update. This is more work and problems. I bought 4 licences of the layer slider, but now i will end this and make a change to slider revolution

Did you follow up on my suggestions from the last reply ? If not, please do so. We still believe that the problem is related to an image preloader/optimizer/cache/etc. We've faced these errors in the past and they were in fact related to the mentioned item.

Regarding the updates. The "Update package not available" and "Plugin not found" or similar error messages during the update process, are most likely symptoms of an interfering 3rd party theme or plugin.  We are constantly notifying and working together with various authors whenever we notice such issue. Unfortunately, these issues cannot be fixed from our end and a temporary solution is updating manually or temporarily disabling other plugins and switching to the default WP theme.

Another possibility might be a stuck activation. If you've used our online tools to remotely deactivate a site (or asked us to do the same on your behalf) your site might no longer be activated. The same can be true if your purchase code has been revoked due to a refund or another reason.  In cases like this deactivating your license in the plugin and then immediately re-activating it can help.

And if everything else fails, you can always update by downloading the newest release from CodeCanyon and reinstalling LayerSlider.  In this case you will need to completely remove the current version first, as there cannot be two instances of the plugin present on your installation.  Please note that your sliders and settings are stored in the database so they won't be deleted in the process. You can also find detailed installation instructions in the documentation, please refer to the following URL: https://layerslider.kreaturamedia.com/documentation/#plugin-setup
