    Hello Thomas Wandahl,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

Did you have the plugin installed before, or had it in a theme bundle ? If you did, you will need to completely remove the old/bundled version first, as there cannot be two instances of the plugin present on your installation at the same time. After that you can install it freely. Please note that your sliders and settings are stored in the database so they won't be deleted in the process.

You can also find detailed installation instructions in the documentation, please refer to the following URL: https://layerslider.kreaturamedia.com/documentation/#plugin-setup

    Thank you for the feedback.

Taking another look at the error message, it's only a harmless debug message. All it means that something in the code needs to be updated.

And we've already done that update in newer releases, but you are using a very old version, that's why this error occurs.

You can fix this by updating the plugin to the latest release. Or you could also disable the debug mode/PHP error reporting to avoid these kind of notifications.
