we are using the LayerSlider, which is preset in the Morpheus WP template as the home page. But we gotproblems if it comes down to Mobile. Sometimes it loads the Desktop version on a smartphone. Do you got a hint how we can fix it?

If you're looking to display different sliders depending on size or device, I'd recommend to use the plugin's built-in features instead of custom media queries.
Since version 6 of LayerSlider you have the option to display layers only on certain devices (desktop, mobile, tablet). This feature gives you the option to create separate layers and layouts for mobile and desktop view in the same slide, and only show them on the required device.
Additionally to the device specific layers, if you would like to show completely separate sliders, you could also build two sliders with different sizes or with different content for desktop/mobile, include them both to the site, and only display them (using the Hide over and Hide under options) on the required device.
