Slider doesn't reload when above viewport

    Browser: Firefox 63.0.1 (64-bit)

    WordPress theme: colorlib

When I put a LayerSlider with background images on a page and try to reload the page, the slider only reloads correctly if the upmost slider is in the center of the viewport. When I scroll down - so that the slider is above the viewport - and reload the page, the slider doesn't show up or just the background shows up and the slider does not work.

I've put your demo slider "The beauty shop" on the development page to illustrate the problem. The problem does not occur in MS Edge. It does occur in Amazon Silk.

I've checked your demo slider "The beauty shop" on your site using Firefox. When I scroll down and reload the page it works just fine. What am I doing wrong?

If the slider has no backgroung image (just layers) the slider reloads correctly, even when above the viewport.

I think I have found the solution.

I have turned off all unnessary plugins and the slider worked just fine.

Turning on the plugins one at a time I found out that "Jetpack", a widget collection coming with the colorlib WordPress theme, caused the problem.

Thanks for your support. Your slider is awsome. One wish for Christmas: A fully editable timeline ;-)

Thank you for the feedback. Yes, that might be the case. We've had several issues in the past with Jetpack.
Recently, we've received reports regarding its lazy load feature. Jetpack's lazy load seems to be conflicting with one of LayerSlider's functions, causing certain issues. It might be enough to only disable the lazy load feature, instead of the whole Jetpack plugin, if you would like to keep using it.
