Previously I have been able to change the layer slider image. For some reason, it no longer allows me to save these changes (see attached screen shot of what is displayed).
Our web developer was uncertain why this would be happening and thought it should still be working. I purchased the layer slider plugin thinking this might fix the problem, but am still unable to change the layer slider image.

Problems with the saving method such as this, are usually related to server configuration issues unfortunately.
Please check the LayerSlider System Status, located in the Options menu on the WordPress sidebar, for any error messages or notifications that could provide additional information on this case.

Please contact your hosting with this case and request that they verify the server settings listed in the LayerSlider System Status and also check on the error you get when saving. They can look into the error logs to identify the exact issue and what needs to be changed. As the saving issue is most likely server configuration related, only your hosting have the necessary tools and permissions to adjust it.
In the meantime please also try to look for any incompatibility problems by temporary disabling other plugins and switching to a default theme. Just to make sure that it's not caused by a 3rd party item.
