Links in LayerSlider not working

The main page has several layer slider elements arranged in multiple rows with section scroll enabled on that page.  The main link has 3 images and clicking on either image will take you to a specific section of the page.  This stopped working for no reason and I won't recall the last time it working.  I updated LayerSlider to version 6.7.6 (from version 6.6.5) last Sep 20th and I have now reverted the site to that version.  It somewhat works now but still has issues (need to click 2x on the image to activate the link) and I would like to resolve these issues.

    Hello ensercorp,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

I've checked the first slider with the 3 rounded images and they seem to be working for me. As I can see those images are linked to other slides of the same slider with smartlinks (#1 #2 #3) and that is working properly. You can change between slides using them. The links on the images after slide change also work and takes you to new page.

I believe what is confusing you is that the layout of all the slides are the same. Basically, all 4 slides have the same images, but in reality they are all separate layers on different slides and only the 'current' image is linked. The first click you make on an image is to navigate you to a certain slide of the slider, and the second click on the "same" image will trigger the linking.

Thank you Attila.  The only reason the site is 'working' is because I reverted LayerSlider to v6.6.5 (it had been updated to v6.7.6).  The moment I update LayerSlider to 6.6.5 it stops working.  There is another issue when it reaches the bottom of all the slides/sections but I believe that might not be caused LayerSlider.  So 2 things I would like to accomplish - (1) a successful update to the current version of LayerSlider and (2) do away with the clicks to activate the link.

Unfortunately we cannot troubleshoot an issue that we can't see. Could you please set up a test site where you can leave the updated slider for us to take a look ?
