Limited availability during the holidays

Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays.     I am using a slider on the homepage, and there is an Http/Https mismatch.  My site is HTTP, and I cannot figure out how to set the images and layer slider to HTTP.  As is the text is working, but the images are not loading.  I have spent a couple hours trying to fix this unsuccessfully, and need directions and/or help.
