Hello, I have a page where everything looks fine, but when a slide containing text is displayed on the website, it only shows the first paragraph, up to the {
} mark. I previously created this slide as a standalone slider, and text worked fine. Then I imported it into an existing slider. Now, even though it displays properly in the preview, it shows only the first section of the text. If I remove the {
} it displays all text but then of course my formatting is wrong.
Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.
Please try to use
format instead. That should work in the WP environment as well.
Please note that I solved this problem by creating an image with the text on it. I did this because I'm on a deadline and couldn't wait. However I left the slide on the slider, just made it invisible, so you can still see and work on this. It is now slide #7.
Thank you. I've re-enabled and checked on the last slide, but the whole text layer is being showed for me on the live site as well. It does not get cut after the first paragraph. Please see attached screenshot. I believe there might be some caching or other similar method on your site or in your browser, messing with what you see. I'd recommend to check on that, as it appears fine on our end.
Hi, Yes it shows normally for me too, now. The problem ceased as quickly as it started. I know you've mentioned cacheing as the culprit before, and I'm of course no expert on anything, but according to my host they have no cacheing enabled on my server. I have no cacheing enabled myself, and while this problem was going on I was clearing the browser cache continually. Again, the problem just stopped on its own with no interference from me, but I don't see how cacheing could be doing it. I'd say maybe my ISP is cacheing, but I am on a totally different ISP now than I was last year when this was going on. I guess it's going to have to remain a mystery.

Hi, I am using
. I simply put it in brackets because I didn't know if it would act as code in this message.
Please set up a temporary login for us so we can check on the text layer and the line break behavior. Thank you.
