Limited availability during the holidays
Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2025, to January 4th, 2026, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.
We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!
I'm using the latest version of Wordpress, Betheme, and LayerSliderWP.
Above and below each slider is extra white space that I cannot get rid of. I've tried manually setting the padding or margin for the row to -35px (which is how much extra space there is) and that doesn't do anything.
There shouldn't be any compatibility issues with other plugins. I still have the same problem even when the Muffin content builder and LayerSlider plugin are the only ones installed.
Hello carsonikey,
Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.
I've checked your site and as I can see the white spaces above and below the slider are generated by Visual Composer. Please see attached screenshots. On the first one you can see the slider's boundaries, and on the second the extra space under the slider. It's a Visual Composer DIV element that wraps the slider and seemingly reaches over it, generating the extra white space.
What should I do to remove the extra space? I don't even have Visual Composer installed.
That is very stange. Elements with "vc" in them are referring to Visual Composer usually. Do you not use WPBakery products either ? It's their item, but they might have renamed it.
In any case, you will need to correct this in the parent element/block/column where you insert the slider in the page builder, as that is adding the extra white spaces, not LayerSlider.
