Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.
The reason for this is Google Chrome 66's Autoplay Policy Change. Google introduced new browser restrictions, which will prevent automatic video/audio playback in certain situations. Autoplay is now allowed only when either the media won't play sound, after the user clicks or taps on the site, or (on desktop) if the user has previously shown an interest in media on the site.
A follow-up update will arrive soon from us, which will provide options to mitigate these restrictions. Since it's governed by the browser, there is no way to restore the previous behavior. However, we can supply alternate options like autoplaying muted videos where visitors can restore sound with a separate button.
You can mute videos in the plugin's settings, but unfortunately it's not recognized by Chrome anymore duo to the recent changes and restrictions.
We are already working on the update that will include an improvement that can bypass these restrictions, so the video autoplay will work again on Chrome as well. We will release it as soon as we are ready. We're sorry for this inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
Hello!
I have the plugin updated and I don't know why the mp4 video on the home page is not running on Chrome (desktop).
In Safari it works fine.
Thanks,

Hi Attila,
Thanks for your reply.
Is there a way to mute the video in the slider settings?
Thanks,
Pedro
Hi Attila,
I have developed other websites using different templates with mp4 videos on slide and they are working fine. Look:
http://guilhermesangirardi.com.br/
http://claudioambrogini.com.br/
I cannot figure out why they are not working in here. The video is muted as well.
Please, help me.
Thanks

Is there a approximate deadline for this implementation update?
Unfortunately there is no ETA available yet. We will release it as soon as it's ready.
