I am using the enfold theme and want to add a popup using advanced layer slider. The popup should behave like this.
- opens on any page of my website
- opens only once for the browsing session, not reloaded
- popup is repeated after 1 day
Unfortunately I can't figure out how to get it working.
I have read something about this topic that it only works if you use the "auto include" for the layer slider. Is this the media element in the visual page builder?

You can set up this behavior in the Repeat Control section of the slider's popup settings. And yes, you will need to add the slider with the Target Pages section for this to take effect. It's located in the same place, in the popup settings of the slider.
Please do not use any custom methods to insert the slider. As mentioned, the popup repeat behavior will only work if you use the Target Pages section to insert it.
The Target Pages section is enough to use to insert popups, the plugin will automatically add the popups to all pages if you select that. You don't need shortcodes or additional placeholders or methods by page builders in this case.
We've logged in and looked around in your settings. You've set it up good, the popup should appear. There is most likely an error on your site that prevents the popup from appearing when using the auto include (target pages) function. What we can think of is that you need to update the plugin and not use the built-in theme version of it.
You can see in the LayerSlider -> Options -> System Status -> Install location that the plugin warns you about it. Please reinstall (https://layerslider.kreaturamedia.com/documentation/#installation) the plugin with our release from CodeCanyon. Enfold should detect if the original plugin is installed and disable the bundled version automatically. You might need to press activation twice after installation to swap them, but all should be fine.
We believe that our release should fix this popup inserting issue.

I am sory but your replay doens't help. I already configured everything as it schould be in my point of view. But there are these issues remaining:
1) Popup only opens on the page where i inserted the advanced layer slider section despite it is configured to show on all pages.
2) The popup opens every time you enter the specific site despite it is configured to be shown only once during the browsing session.
Please have a look at the attachments and provide further assistance.

I don't really understand how the auto include works and its not really described in any documentation I found.
According to your last reply I deleted the section in my page.
But now nothing happens. The popup is not displayed anywhere!
Please describe how to use the auto include feature.

Please help, using any other method to include the pop up the repeat control does not work.
Using the auto include in the pop up setting it is not shown at all even if I use “all pages” setting.
