The attached images show what I see in the LayerSlider plugin versus the other published image. As you can see they're very different. I'm finding, that there is a lack of control of what the final layout is going to look like.In this case, there is a huge gap in the right side of my slide. This is not what I intended. I've been making all sorts of adjustments to the settings, but nothing appears to fix this. I'm not finding this plugin to be easy to use. I never know what to expect and I'm wasting valuable time trying to get my slides to appear as I intend them to. Please help.

The preview window in the admin of the plugin is exactly how the slider will look on the front-end. It's a 'what you see is what you get' editor. I've checked your slider and it is properly fullwidth, it reaches to the sides of the browser for me. Did you change it since then ? Or in what browser/OS/device are you seeing this exactly ?
Please also note that you are using the Full size -> Hero scene mode currently. This option will always match the slider's sizes to the viewport, so it will always cover 100% of the visible viewport of the browser window, regardless of the viewing environment.
Ugh! This is incredibly frustrating! No this is not working in the way that I need it to work. I'm overwhelmed with all of the different settings and options but nothing to allow me to create a stable image. The attached image is the goal I'd like to achieve. I've been working on this 1 image for the entire morning, with no success. I'm ready to give up and Look into an alternative solution.
I'm sorry, but I'm not exactly sure what is the problem you are facing currently, or what do you mean by "stable image". As mentioned, the slider is fullscreen now, if you would like to lower its height, you can use the fullwidth layout instead. It's still going to reach to the sides of the browser in both cases, like it does now (see attached screenshot). After that you can add the text layers and the button to the left side of the slider, and they will be rescaled responsively for different screen sizes.
