Slider is not functioning. Only first slider image is loading on home page there is no text loading nor is the slider transitioning to next image. I have tried all the recommended suggestion and it's still not working.

    Hello Jonathan,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

Could you please show us a test page where we can check the slider ? Currently your site is in maintenance mode, so we cannot see it. We would need to see the slider live to troubleshoot this. Thank you.

  • Jonathan replied

Sorry about the slow reply, been tied up with other things. I will remove the maintenance mode and if you need a access to WordPress admin let me know.

    Thanks

    Jonathan

Thank you. I've checked the slider, but it works and displays the layers for me at the moment (see screnshot attached).

Have you managed to fix the problem in the meantime ?

In case not, could you please specify on what OS/browser/device are you experiencing this exactly ?

  • Jonathan replied

For me the only browser that is working is Edge. Firefox and Chrome only show the photo layer across all my computers.

I have not made any changes since I opened the ticket.

    OS: Windows 10

    Browsers: Chrome & Firefox

It's the same problem on my Surface Pro, Surface Book, Lenovo IdeaCentre desktop and my gaming desktop which I have never loaded the website on any browser.

Thank you for the feedback. My colleagues and I will look into this to see if we can find anything wrong, and get back to you shortly.

Sorry for the delayed response. We had to contact the dev team with this case, but they weren't available up until now. As we can see you've put back maintenance mode again so we cannot check it unfortunately. Could you please set up a temporary WP login for us, so we can bypass the maintenance mode anytime and investigate this issue more in depth from the back-end ? Thank you.

Thank you, but unfortunately this user does not have access to the Plugins menu or to LayerSlider. Could you please give permission to this user so we can access the plugin ?

  • Jonathan replied

Sorry, I updated the permission setting for the user account. Please try again.

    Thanks

Thank you for your patience. We've looked into this and we believe the problem is related to CSS merging. Please disable the merging/compressing of CSS files to see if that helps.

    Hi,

Thanks you for your assistance. I'm not sure how to go about correcting the issue you described below.

It's okay for you to close this ticket.

The CSS file merging/compressing method I was referring to, is most likely implemented by your theme. You should be able to turn this off with an option in your theme settings. It might be a separate plugin on your installation too that is doing this effect, but the theme is more likely.
