    Hello Layer Slider,

I have a bit of a problem with my success stories page. For some odd reason, the blue colored boxes behind the testimonials have disappeared when the page initially loads.

Keeping that in mind, I provided you the link https://kylekucsera.com/test-page/so that you can test the page because if you just paste https://kylekucsera.com/success-stories/ into your browser, the colored boxes are there. Only when it is accessed by a link does the page break. I am contacting you guys because when I inspect the page there are many many errors on the page, all with the Layer Slider label on it (see the images below). The first image is the page loading from the menu or link and the second is when I either refresh the page or paste the link directly into my browser.

What is going on here? What is with all of the errors and are these errors preventing my page from loading properly.

    Thanks,
    Kyle Kucsera

    Hello KyleKucseraDesign,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

I've checked these pages and I do not see LayerSlider being used or the mentioned errors on them. In case you experience problems with your site in general, I'd recommend to contact the author of your theme/page builder with it. LayerSlider is only responsible for its sliders. But if you have problems with a slider, please show us where we can check it.

Thanks for the reply Attila. Based on what you mentioned, is exactly why I contacted you guys. The errors did not make sense, since Layer Slider is not on those pages.

Since you were not able to replicate the errors, please try this to do so. Go to the Services and Portfolio pages, inspect (see no errors), then scroll the page down and the errors will show up within the inspector. What are these? Since they are mentioning Kreatura.

    Thanks,
    Kyle Kucsera

I've checked those pages as well, but I'm not able to reproduce these errors. There is an Ajax JS error related to your theme and some errors related to missing images, but other than those, there are no additional errors showing for me currently.

  • KyleKucseraDesign replied

Even after following the steps? This is in Chrome by the way. Even if you aren't replicating the issue, what are those errors referencing to?

  • [deleted] replied

Yes, even after following the steps in Chrome, I only saw the mentioned JS and image errors.

Judging from the screenshots, those errors seem to be theme (conflict) related, but we would need to see and  investigate it live to be able to more.

I can continuously create the problem. Inspect and see only the errors you mention, leave the inspector open and then scroll the responsive mockup to the left, you will then see the errors show up within the inspector. Do I need to record this process?

    Thanks,
    Kyle

Thank you for the feedback. My colleagues and I will look into this further to see if we can recreate it, and to find out what might be the exact source of those errors. We'll get back to you shortly with the results.

Thank you for your patience. The dev team also looked into it, but they were also only able to re-create the "qode_root is not defined" error. It's possible that we cannot see the rest as we are not logged in. In any case, that error is clearly generated by your theme. But it is likely not interfering and it would also be there if LayerSlider wasn't even installed.

Furthermore, Ajax navigation has countless disadvantages and could easily generate errors like this. These errors do not appear because we don't support something, simply the Ajax navigation has its limits and disadvantages and it shows in a strictly controlled WordPress environment.

We'd recommend to disable the Ajax navigation to see if that solves this.

I appreciate your insight into this error. I will contact the theme's developer and see what they have to say. Thanks for your time!
