Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.
In case you want to start a popup slider with a button outside of a slider from your site, you will need to apply an ID (id="example") or class (class="example") on that button and enter the same selector for ID (#example) or class (.example) to the Open By Click field in the Slider Settings. Your theme builder should provide an option/field where you can apply an ID or class on the button that you want to use.
Please also make sure that the sliders that you want to use (the popups as well) are added to the page. You can also use the Slider Settings -> Popup -> Target Pages section for this purpose.

Hello Attila,
thank you.
Its poping now, but next problem is the auto-include...
As we are working with enfold theme (page builder) the layerslider-pop up-element is still visible as a white space in the front end.
the auto-include, targeting the side-id from the slider-options, does nothing.
Could you give us a hint, how to solve the problem?
thanks so much,
regards,
paul
This is a problem with the theme builder. It creates a container for the slider, and even if the slider is not visible from the start (popup), the container generated by theme is there. You will either need to ask your theme author, if they have a better soluton for this. Or use LayerSlider's default methods to insert your sliders:
