I have a page that has a slider with a video background layer (self hosted, no audio). It works when the page is first loaded but if I navigate to another page and then click the back button the video doesn't restart in chrome.

I'm not sure if this will be helpful but I've discovered that this issue goes away if I embed a Vimeo hosted video rather than using a self hosted video.
Thank you for the feedback. The dev team looked into this and it's most likely related to the newly introduced Google Chrome 66's Autoplay Policy Change.
Google introduced new browser restrictions, which will prevent automatic video/audio playback in certain situations. Autoplay is now allowed only when either the media won't play sound, after the user clicks or taps on the site, or (on desktop) if the user has previously shown an interest in media on the site.
A follow-up update will arrive soon from us in form of a new plugin version, which will provide further options to mitigate these restrictions. Since it's governed by the browser, there is no way to restore the previous behavior. However, we can supply alternate options like autoplaying muted videos where visitors can restore sound with a separate button.
Actually, this works in Chrome when the page is first loaded. It's self hosted video without audio used as a background. However, for some reason the video doesn't restart after navigating away from the page and then returning using the back button. You may be right though, it could be do to the changes in Chrome that I pointed out in my previous ticket.
It's just strange that it works on the initial page load but not when return to the page via the back button. Let me know if you sort this out.
By the way, the video restarts if you click the "Divi" logo in the top left corner. I assume that forces a page reload. Not sure why that helps when the reload button in Chrome doesn't. Maybe this will provide some clues for you to work from.
