Hi, I can't seem to find a way, or a template, to do this; ie show a main image centered and images on either side, typically with effects applied to coming / going images such as partially rotated, shrunk or the like. Is there one? All the Carousel named effects in Layer Slider are about things that happen in one image view, with no ability to extend it to show an actual carousel which by definition is a rotating series of images, all visible.
I am referring to the sorts of effects you see here:

Unfortunately there is no carousel effect like this available in the plugin currently.
Crikey, this is a bit of an unexpected omission from a market leading plugin. Is there a template / method that I could set to display full width and display multiple images within it as a filmstrip? Oh, that would be a carousel! Seriously, can this style of effect be expected to be incorporated any time soon? Gotta admit this discovery is a really basic issue for me and may trigger a refund request.
The REASON this effect matters is I well realise in a set of say 15 pics of a past project not every one will hold the viewers attention, but a couple may be especially interesting. If they can see the interesting pics coming they will scroll to them, but otherwise just close the tab and the opportunity to impress is gone... It is not as if reducing pic qty is really an option either. And content based tag gathering is tricky, but doable I understand - a later step for me!
eg if we made cars (we don't) we have to include pics of the exterior, interior, engine, brakes, gearbox, controls and the like. We did all this stuff and need the pics to tell the basic story. But people interested in brakes don't care about the rest - they want to see that bit. Quickly! (hey, it's a modern world!). Is there a way to solve this need with Layer Slider? Thank you.
