Text can be added by adding a text layer to a slide and sorting out transition effects, but it is quite a nuisance to contemplate this over the 300 or so images I want to convert. I am trying to make a portfolio of past jobs, about 20 sliders, each with 10-20 images in them. If I can simply type the title as the slide name and have it display over the image, center bottom displayed, 5px off border, it is 'just' a labor of love to give all those pics a name. Of course the images are 'all over the place' on aspect ratio, so I need to use Contain to keep them 'nice', which at least pins down the text display to a set point. But can it be done somehow? Is there a Custom CSS that might do this? Thank you.

The option to set a layer static is located in the Layers -> Transitions tab at the bottom, it is called 'Keep this layer visible: ...'
This answer seems to be unrelated to the question, and also wrong! In the Keep This Layer Visible box I only see Default (until end of this slide) and an ability to allocate the transition to a specific slide or to all of them. Nothing to set it as 'fixed', so it just appears as an overlay on the slide for the duration of the slide, transitioning in and out with it. Undoubtedly I can find layer transition effects that will create this outcome, but I was asking for a simple way to have the slide name appear on the slide. Every other slider I looked at does this, but I can't find a way for Layer Slider. Is there one?
