Again I ask....patiently. Having downloaded the latest version of layerslider I can't get an image to show at the start of the slider. It always take a second to appear. How do I solve this?

    Hello Carl,

Please show us your site where we can check this.

Site is not live and the slider is not posted on a page. When I preview the slider it shows, for a very brief moment, a checkerboard background and then the first images pops in and the text fades in. I assume this is the preview of the actual slider. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe ALL slider previews show a blank frame from within the app?

I have the sliders background color set to black. I expect black  to show immediately and not the checkerboard background indicating transparentcy. My portrait should show immediately but does not. Start and end of transition set to 0. Perhaps I need to set the end of transition to 1?

Fading in the text was easy.

Turning off the intro transition is forbidden.

Could you please set up a temporary WP login for us so we can check on this in the back-end ?

When I got involved with themeforrest I was told to expect an email answers within 5 days. Granting admin access to my site for a simple answer is not my idea of security for me.

Please send your best answer by email or grant me ftp access to your site and I'll transfer my page to you!

I've tried this ftp/admin access before with one of the providers to Themeforrest and they CHANGED their password on MY SITE!. I trusted an unknown once, I will not again.

Please answer the question as best you can by email.

    Thank You

As much as we would love to, we cannot help you without seeing the problem. We will need to see the actual site/slider to be able to investigate it and tell what's wrong.

We do not necessarily need an admin, you can also just upload the slider to a test page so we can check it.

We've received hundreds of logins in the past from our users, and we never once abused it. But if you don't trust us, you can also create a limited WP login, where we can only use the plugin and access your front-end, so we cannot change anything. But as mentioned, the login is not necessary.
