    Placed a youtube video in the layerslider and set "use this video as slide background" it plays in all browsers except google chrome.

    Need a fix please.

    Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

    The reason for this is Google Chrome 66's Autoplay Policy Change. Google introduced new browser restrictions, which will prevent automatic video/audio playback in certain situations. Autoplay is now allowed only when either the media won't play sound, after the user clicks or taps on the site, or (on desktop) if the user has previously shown an interest in media on the site. 

    Another follow-up update will arrive soon from us, which will provide further options to mitigate these restrictions. Since it's governed by the browser, there is no way to restore the previous behavior. However, we can supply alternate options like autoplaying muted videos where visitors can restore sound with a separate button.

    Well the media I am using does not have sound is there a way to get that to work?

    Also when using slider revolution in another website the video plays...

    As I've mentioned another follow-up plugin update will arrive soon, that will contain the necessary adjustmens and which will provide further options to mitigate these restrictions. Thank you for your understanding and for your patience!

    Still waiting, my site has been down since May waiting for this update to the plugin. Any word on how long yet. I read on some other forums that you are down to just a couple of developers so I understand things taking time but is there any timeframe for the fix yet?
