This is a tough one to pin down, but it appears that every time that the Layer Slider needs an update it flushes the license code and will not run until the code is re-installed.

That is indeed strange. We did not receive reports like this from other users so far, so I believe the problem might be a localized one on your installation. Might be that a cache/backup solution is interfering with the license or with the updates. Could you please check if you (or your theme) use anything similar, like cache/backup/synchronization method that could be responsible for this ?
Also, we have launched a site that you can use to manage and reset the activations of your purchase code,in case your license would get stuck because of this problem: https://kreaturamedia.com/reset-activations
FIrst please try to verify that it is indeed the problem. You could temporary switch it off to see if that helps. And in case that is generating the issue, the theme author might be able to provide you with a workaround for this, for example by excluding LayerSlider from it.

Our theme does indeed use a cash agent - you think that is the issue? Should I disable and use a different one - what agent would you suggest?
