On the web-site above there is a slider on the homepage, the WordPress site url is http://goground.busbetter.net When I use that url and go to a page the url transforms to http://goground.com/bus-better/ - it even does that when I hover over links in the slide even though what is in the slide is correct. I manually created a couple of buttons on the Home page and the href url is just fine. The only one's redirecting are the ones in the slider. Any thoughts? Layer Slider V6.71
Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.
I have checked your site but for me the URLs are not being transformed in the slider currently. They redirect me to http://goground.busbetter.net/xxxx subpages.
Have you managed to fix the problem in the meantime ?
In case not, what exactly should we check or where can we see it ?
I figured out what the issue was. I built some buttons on the sliders and the buttons were built while I was hosting the site in development at goground.tbgmarketing.com and when we put the site into goground.busbetter.net I updated the WordPress tables with the new URL's, updated the Permalinks and thought "Cool - I'm done!" But I forgot those buttons are stored in wp_layerslider (D'oh!) so I updated the data column in the table and PRESTO! Everything is fine. The only weird thing I have not figured out yet is that Layer Slider, in Fullwidth and Responsive mode does not go to the full-width of the page. I am inserting Layer Slider using Visual Composer so I am guessing sneaky little VC is the culprit and I will have to figure that out. Other than that - client loves the Sliders and the ability to add a new one in about 15 minutes makes me a SUPERSTAR!!! :-) Thanks for getting back to me - should have closed the ticket last night but went to my neighborhood tavern instead! http://www.theoldetownetavern.com/ They have a really good CUBAN Sandwich ;-)
