    Hello geco67,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

Naturally, if you display an image in a "larger space", it will lose quality, since it has to be enlarged to fit the container. Let's say your image is 1024 x 768, but the slider is 1900 x 1080. The image has to be enlarged to fill the slider and to not leave empty spaces at the sides. You can see it on the screenshot as well that the slider is way larger than the original image. You can work arond this by matching the slider's size to the image, or by using a higer quality image that will not lose much from its quality when enlarged or resized.

Sorry but slider is set to 1280x780, background image is exactly 1280px width and picture up to background image is 100% (1044px)

Maybe it is because my screen is a retina 15" 2880x1800  that stretch 1280px of the slider width ? Is it that ?

Yes, that is the problem. The original sizes of the slider might match the image sizes. But since it's a responsive fullwidth slider it will be resized for different screen resolutions, so the image will be enlarged on larger screens to fill the slider. A higher quality image would do better in cases like this.
