Unfortunately there is no built-in option in the plugin to achieve this currently.
However the LayerSlider API (and event callbacks) provides this kind of customizability, but it requres some web development experience to use: https://layerslider.kreaturamedia.com/documentation/#layerslider-api so it's only recommended for more experienced users.
