I believe the problem is that the slide linking is positioned over the layer linking. Please check the Slide Options -> Slide Linking section and set the dropdown menu to underneath layers to see if that works. You have to press the Show More Options button first to see this section.
Although I have a link in each "layer" of the slider when published it only goes to the next slide, it will NOT link to the post.
I'm talking about 300 Kent, the first image/slider on the home page. It "should" link to http://www.ruthmalkinlerner.com/2017/09/08/penthouse-luxury-condominium-300-kent-street-5-brookline/ which is how it is setup in the slider program but it's not working.
Can you help?
