Limited availability during the holidays

Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2025, to January 4th, 2026, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.

We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!

I am currently using the Photocrati theme and wanted to display a LayerSlider on the home page. However, if you look at the page, it only shows up in a small-ish area. Is there a way to have the slider be the background image?

    Hello rsirota,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

The slider can be set any size you want. You can apply the dimensions in the Slider Settings -> Layout tab. You can also set multiple layout types there, such as fullscreen or fullwidth if that is what you're looking for.
Please also note that, if you're using a theme/page builder to insert the slider, the element where you add it also has to be fullscreen for example.

Couple of additional questions... You can refer to http://www.k9-pix.com for visuals.

1 - Is there a way to make the slider the background for the page? So that it fills up the whole page to the full size of the image?

2 - Will the changes you specified below still make it responsive for other size devices?

    Thanks

As to where the slider is positioned on the page is up to you. But the plugin provides a fullscreen mode, so it can fill the whole screen if you want to. Additionally you could select the Hero scene mode for it inside the Full size layout. This option will always match the slider's height to the viewport, so it will always cover 100% of the browser window's height, regardless of the viewing environment.
