If you want to trigger the popup with a button (layer) from another slider, you will need to enter the following line to the Open By Click field of the popup: #example And then set an ID in the Link & Attributes tab, for the button (layer) in the other slider, with the same name: example
Please note that the popup slider has to be a separate one. Please also make sure that the sliders that you want to use (the popups as well) are added to the page. You can also use the Slider Settings -> Popup -> Target Pages section for this purpose.
As I can see there are only two sliders inserted to this page and both of them are 'normal' sliders. The popup slider has to be included to the page as well, otherwise it won't load and the plugin cannot open it.
I've tried to login with these credentials, but unfortunately they do not seem to be working: ERROR: The password you entered for the username Attila K is incorrect.
Thank you for your patience. The dev team looked into this, but they couldn't find the popup slider on your admin from the screenshots, where the #example ID is set. Did you change it since then, or where exactly can we locate it ? It should be working judging from the screenshots, but we were not able to locate it in the back-end.
As I can see the popup slider has an .openpopup trigger set in the Open By Click field. This is a class. However the layer (silver package) in the bottom slider has an ID set with the name example. You will need to match the trigger with the atrribute of the layer. So both of them has to be either an ID or a class with the same name. So .example and example for class or #example and example for ID.
I have named element on slider, I have entered the ID in the open by click box and I have selected All Pages (on the seperate slider for popup).
The pop is not being triggered on the portfolio Item page as per screen shot (element is in redbox).
What am I doing wrong?

i would like to mention i did not enter .openpopup. i assume a college of yours tried this. as you can see in the attachments i had #example in this ID. and that is not working, hence the reason for this original post.

Could you please go in and try this, and see if it works for you and see we can can get this resolved once and for all.
Yes, you are right. We might have missed each other's changes with my colleague and that caused this misunderstanding. Sorry for that. I'll contact him, we'll take a look together at the settings, and get back to you.
Sorry for the drawn out case and thank you for your patience. We had to do a lot of testings for potential issues.
The problem is related to the version you are using. v6.6.8 had an error that could result in problems like this in certain cases. We have fixed it since then, so updating the plugin to the latest release will solve this issue as well.
Hello, i purchased a Pop up Layerslider but i am having trouble working out how to Open By Click the Pop up.
i want to add a Pop up to an already existing layerslider. i have attached 2 screeshots.
i would like to know,
1)what do i enter in the box, Open by Click? in the 1st attachment
2)what and where do i add to the layer link and attributes page in the 2nd attachment?

Please show us your site or a test page where we can check this.
