I made a sample slider for my home page and tested it out today. It posted to the top of every single page. I can't figure out what setting made it do that.

I only want it on my home page.

Please tell me what to do.

    Thanks

    Hello Gwen Reeves,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

How exactly did you insert the slider ? The PHP function could be inserting the slider to all pages when set incorrectly. Unfortunately I cannot check your site as it's in maintenance mode, but if you use shortcode, it should only appear on that page. You can find the available inserting methods described in the documentation : https://support.kreaturamedia.com/docs/layersliderwp/documentation.html#publishing-sliders

I fixed it by deactivating layer slider and then reactivating and I started over.

    Now I have another problem.

I want my slider to never get bigger than 1152x576 pixels. In other words - not full screen.

So I set it to a fixed size and it looks the way I want on a desk top screen. HOWEVER, I want it to shrink down on a mobile phone. When I have it a fixed size, it just shows a slice of it on the phone. Can I trick it to fix it for mobile viewing?

To work around the fixed size layout, you could build two sliders with different sizes for dekstop and mobile, include them both to the site, and only display them (using the Hide over and Hide under options) on the required device.

    Hello,

I've made the #2 slider that is responsive sizing for the mobile. I've set the #1 fixed slider not to show on the mobile. Are there some other settings I need to include?

How do I embed the #2 slider under the #1 slider (in WordPress)?

You should insert them to the same place/parent element/block, depending on what inserting method you use. Other than the Hide over and the Hide under, there is no additional option you need to use after adding them to the site.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to successfully do this on my test page.

I inserted the copy (#2) in the same place, and it loads in underneath my #1 slider and shows both of them.

Could you please show us that test page so we can check the two sliders ? On the attached URL there is only one slider as I can see.
