I'd like to create a slider for a "team" section on my website. The layers are going to be images of each person and I'd like for a user to be able to click on their name and have a pop up appear with a headshot and some text.
I've created the "team slider" and then a separate "pop up slider" with the employee's information, but cannot for the life of me figure out how to link a layer in the team slider to the pop up or vice versa.

If you want to trigger the popup with a button (layer) from another slider, you will need to enter the following line to the Open By Click field of the popup: #example And then set an ID in the Link & Attributes tab, for the button (layer) in the other slider, with the same name: example
Please also make sure that the sliders that you want to use (the popups as well) are added to the page. You can also use the Slider Settings -> Popup -> Target Pages section for this purpose.
Okay - so I had it working and I changed the layer (button) and now I can't seem to get it to work. I deleted the previous layer entirely, but is there a chance it's also being identified with the ID?

Clicking on "Derek" should trigger a popup.
I have a popup slider named "Derek" and the "Open by Click" is set to: #Derek
On the Squagoals Slider, I have a layer with the ID as: Derek (under links/attributes)
I have tried it with the ID field, the Alt field and both fields. Still not working.

We've checked your site again and it seems to be working now. The 'Derek' layer opens up a slider popup.
