You could use the popup feature for this, to open another slider with clicking.
If you want to trigger the popup with a layer from another slider, you will need to enter the following line to the Open By Click field of the popup: #example And then set an ID in the Link & Attributes tab, for the layer in the other slider, with the same name: example And if you set this layer to be 100% width and height it will cover the whole slide, so it's basically linking the slide.
Please also make sure that the sliders that you want to use (the popups as well) are added to the page. You can also use the Slider Settings -> Popup -> Target Pages section for this purpose.
Thanks for this but I still have the same issue. On slider 1 ( the slider I want to open) I have entered #eventjol in the Open By Click field (see attached No. 1), and on the slider I wish to be the trigger I have entered eventjol in the Link & Attributes (see attached No 2).
The ID has to be applied on a layer, not on the slide itself. So you will need to add the ID in the Link & Attributes tab of the button layer that you want to be the trigger.
That is not the ID of the layer, that is the default linking field. The ID option is a little bit further down the page. You can see it on the screenshot as well.
I want to link a slide to open a completely different slider on click. Is this possible?

Both pages are activated on the pages needed by the way.

Thanks for this but still not working. Attached are images showing settings in slider to open and trigger layer.
