I have Layer Slider newly installed. I wanted to start with a template from your template library, but whenever I go to the library and click "Import" I get a popup message that shows your animated logo and a message that says "Importing, please wait..."
I let it run for hours once to see if it was just a waiting game, but inevitably, nothing ever happens. I've tried for a couple of days, but it just doesn't work.

As the System Status suggests the PHP ZipArchive extension is needed to import/export sliders.
Please contact your hosting provider and request that they install/enable it.
