I bought the Avada theme with the Layer Slider included. But since I like to have the plugin updated, So I bought a new license for the Layer Slider on Envato.
With my activation key for the Layer Slider I can activate the plugin. But it won't stay activated. Every time I activate the plugin, the site shows me it's activated. But when I refresh or go to a different page en come back, the activation is no longer active. So I can activate the plugin again. But it won't stay activated. What can I do?

After trying 5 times, now it stays activated. I have updated the plugin with the latest version provided by the Envato download with FTP. This might have been the solution. Still strange that the activation didn't stick the first 5 times. But thanks for taking a look at my ticket! I'm good for now!

Unfortunately some themes are restricting the update and/or activation method of the plugin that could result in problems like this.
I'd recommend to manually update the plugin by downloading the newest release from CodeCanyon and reinstalling LayerSlider.
You will need to completely remove the bundled version first, as there cannot be two instances of the plugin present on your installation.
Please note that your sliders and settings are stored in the database so they won't be deleted in the process.
