Im trying to have a layerslider running inside a WPBakery column. Something like in the attachment.
So I would like the slide to be responsive related with the column size, not the row. One possibility would be to give the slider a fixed size, but then I was expecting to have the slider shrink based on the browser size. To accomplish this I gave the slider a fixed size and a responsive layout, but this makes the slide witdh of the size of the whole row and not the size of the column.

You could try to use the Layout -> Full size -> Fit to parent height mode for this. This should result in the slider following the size of the parent element, in your case, that column.
