I'd like to copy or export a slider created with LayerSlider WP included within the Bridge (dse-ch.com) theme to the Layerslider WP installed as a plugin with the Divi theme.
How to proceed ? I don't find any export or copy option in the source LayerSlider WP included in the Bridge theme...
Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.
Both the copy and export options are located in the drop-down menu, that you can access by clicking the small arrow on a slider in the sliders list.
Sorry But I can't find the option you are refering to in the version of Layerslider provided with Bridge... Where is it located in that version ? (see attached screenshot).
This is a very outdated version of the plugin. I'd recommend to udpate it. There are many improvements, new content and fixes added to the new versions.
In this old version the copy option is next to the delete icon, you can see it in the screenshot. And the import/export options had their dedicated section that you can find on the main page of the admin area.
This is the reason why I want to export those sliders from the old release, because I'm not using that theme anymore...
As shown on the attached screenshot :
- It seems the copy option you're refering to is a duplicate option that is only working within the same slider... Is i what you're refering to ? If yes it won't help me...
- What is the main page of the admin area ?! Can you send me a screens hot hot to get it ? I only see import option on the Layerslider options and screens provided in that release ?
Yes, the copy option only duplicates the sliders. I believed you were also looking for that option, judging from your first message.
The Export Sliders section should be right under the Import Sliders, as I can see it shows on your screenshot as well. Alternatively you could also utilize the Bulk Actions dropdown menu under the sliders list. There should be an option to export there as well.
