Hello, I am using LayerSlider with Contact Form 7. I would like the ability to open a contact form in a popup when a text link is clicked.

    1) I have created a slider and set the layout as a popup.

    2) Under Popup Configuration, I entered a jQuery selector to open the popup under "Open by click"

    3) Under Slides, I entered the contact form 7 shortcode in the HTML field.

Now when I perform a live preview of the popup, I see "[contact-form-7 id="713" title="Contact form 1"]" and not the actual form. Attached is a screenshot.

Can you please let me know what I am doing wrong and how I can setup the desired scenario as I described above.

    Thank you for your support.

    Hello corian22,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

The slider displays the corresponding content of a shortcode on the front-end, so I believe the problem is with the shortcode itself. Could you please check on it, to see if it is indeed correct and working ? You could also test it outside of the slider to see if it works that way.

Thank you for your response, the popup is now working. The problem was that I did not add the slider to "All pages" in the popup configuration.

The form in the popup shows up when accessing the popup form a page, but does not show up in the dashboard preview. Only the shortcode shows in the preview. Why is this?

The issue now is that the bottom of the contact form in the popup is cutoff, and there is no scroll-bar in the popup to access the rest of the form. Attached is a screenshot. How do I resolve this?

Could you also direct me to a demo that shows a contact form opening up in a popup?

    Thank you.

The content of the shortcode will only show on the front-end, it will not be displayed in the admin editor.

The popup slider cannot be scrolled, so you will either need to make the form smaller or the popup window larger, to bypass this.

Unfortunately we do not have any demo sliders that feature a contact form at the moment.
