Slider doesn't respect positioning of layers

In the Layer Slider builder, all of the layers look perfect, but once I view it on the website, the positioning is completely screwed up and nothing is where it should be. Some layers are squished into narrow columns or are overlapping, others are not aligning to the edges the way I've set them up in the builder. I've tried setting the positions by pixels and percentages, setting positions from sides of screen and sides of slider, and I've tried several different slider settings (responsive, full size, etc.) but nothing changes the layout on the front end. How do I make the layers show up the way I've designed them? I've had nothing but issues with Layer Slider and I'm beyond frustrated trying to get the damn thing to work!

Also, I've tried disabling all the other plugins before, and that didn't fix anything, so nothing I have installed is competing with Layer Slider.

Thank you for all your help!

    Hello Smartegies12,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

I've checked your slider in the admin and it is looking basically the same. The layers are overlapping each other in the back-end as well. And that is being reflected on the front-end.

I've attached some screenshots comparing the admin and live site.

I saw that this morning when I logged into wordpress also. Yesterday, they were perfect as I'd built them but this morning they were all jumbled up in the back end as well as the front end. Why are they moving around on me after I log out of wordpress? I've adjusted the widths of the problem layers and that seems to have solved the issues for now, but is there a way to set the scaling of objects so that they don't shrink down to tiny sizes when the browser window is resized? I'm trying to avoid having to build separate sliders for tablet and mobile screens, but I don't want tiny layers on smaller screens either.

Also, I've tried to set the slider behavior to "fit to parent height", but I get a white screen of death when I try to load the page on the front end. Is there something in my settings that is making this happen or is this the wrong setting to use for a full screen slider?

Thank you for the feedback. The plugin cannot change your sliders by itself. The problem is likely related to a synchronization/backup solution in your installation that is resetting the plugin and its content to an earlier state from time to time. Please try to look for any plugin/script that might be responsible for this.

The fit to parent height option should be fine with fullscreen sliders. The issue is likely generated by that the slider's parent element does not have any height specified by default, so the slider collapses when it tries to take that on.
