I'm having a hard time applying the :hover property. I've tried to do it in the Transitions tab and in the Styles Custom CSS field. I'm in the proper layer (there's only two: video and type).
.custom-text:hover { color: red !important; }
And a half-dozen variations, a:hover, p:hover,...
I've read several cases where others have had the same problem and have tried to follow those solutions, all to no avail.
Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.
The plugin provides a built-in option to set up hover effect for layers, so you do not have to use code, and it's not recommended either. The options to achieve this effect are located in the Layers -> Transitions -> Hover Transition section.
LayerSlider supports Google Fonts, so you can load any available additional font to the slider. The Google Fonts section is located in the LayerSlider WP Sidebar -> Options -> Google Fonts tab.
It seems like you are using an old version of the plugin where the Options tab was not added yet. In this case the Google Fonts can be found on the main page of the plugin's admin interface, further down the page.

Thank you Attila. The solution worked perfectly.
I have one other question that I'm not able to find in the documentation. Is it possible to import additional fonts for use in the text layers?
Best Regards, jim.

Thank you for your reply, Attila. Options is not shown in my WP sidebar. Please see attached screen capture.
