Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.
There is no issue like this present in the latest release of our plugin (6.6.8.), so unfortunately it is most likely a conflict problem on your installation or a server configuration issue. To start troubleshooting please try to temporary disable other plugins and switch to a default WP theme to see if that solves the issue. Please also check the LayerSlider System Status, located on the WP sidebar for any related error messages that could provide more information.
I am unable to edit any imported sliders, (my own or the sample)
It seems there is a serverissue that preventedLayerSliderfromsavingyourwork. Please, try to temporary disable themes/plugins, or contact with your hosting provider. Your HTTP serverthrown the following error
I can however save any new sliders, that I create from scratch.
I am using the latest version of wordpress and Layerslider. I have also deactivated all plugins and changed the theme to one of the wordpress default themes. I’ve read through many of these comments, but I can’t seem to find a documented solution.
Sorry for the delayed response, the Ticksy servers had experienced some issues.
Judging from your description, it is almost certainly a server issue. As you've mentioned the plugin saves new sliders properly. The error starts to happen when more content is added to the slider. This is likely because your server settings limit the plugin data. Larger sliders with more content are no longer working/saving because of some kind of memory limitation or execution time limit. Unfortunately we do not have access to your server settings and cannot adjust them, only your hosting can. I'd recommend to contact your host with this case and ask them to look into it. They can check the error logs around the time when it happens to find out what is wrong exactly, and change the settings accordingly.
I have imported a template from the gallery. Once I make the text changes to the slider the content does not get saved.
All the text and images disappear and get emptied.
