The plugin is already in wp, it says it can not be updated with out purchase. I clicked the link to purchase and paid the fee.
Now it seems the only way to get the update is to install re new version to my wp site.....
And I see an offer to have it installed for an additional fee.
Most all software i have purchased in the past has a activation area so no reinstallation is needed.
I would not have paid the activation fee had I known it requires reinstallation of the product. And to me the fact that you are charging to have it installed but you guys shows that I'm not the only one with this issue. Not a happy camper. I Will look to move to different plug-in next year.
Unfortunately some themes are restricting the update and/or activation method of the plugin that could result in problems like this. Certain themes hide the activation section on purpose, that could be why you cannot locate it.
I'd recommend to manually update the plugin by downloading the newest release from CodeCanyon and reinstalling LayerSlider. You will need to completely remove the bundled version first, as there cannot be two instances of the plugin present on your installation. Please note that your sliders and settings are stored in the database so they won't be deleted in the process. We do not offer any installation services. You have probably mistook it for Envato's service. There are no additional fees in LayerSlider. You purchase a license, get access to every feature and content, and receive lifetime updates with it.
Well I can tell you that every other plugin in word press I can update with a single click. This piece of S__T plugin does not allow that even though it said it would before my purchase......
Today I was notified of a update available but it still wants me to purchase licence.. I already did that. I installed the newer version as you previously suggested. If I have to reinstall for every update your company should be paying me for my loss of time!
You do not need to manually install every update. As I've mentioned the problem was related to the theme bundled version of the plugin that you had installed.
If you already removed it and installed our release from CodeCanyon, you should see the activation box, be able to enter your license and update with one click.

I purchased a activation code.
However in Wordpress under plugins. I have no option to enter an activation code!
Please correct this and contact me so I can enter the activation code.
