Limited availability during the holidays
Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2024, to January 5th, 2025, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.
We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!
I bought LayerSlider, because it was part of a Drupal 7 theme I had used, years ago, and I liked it quite a bit. However, I now find that drupal doesn't have code to integrate it into Drupal 8.
Is it possible to use LayerSlider with Drupal 8? If not, I guess I'll need to return it ...
Hello jonc113,
Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.
The standalone jQuery version of LayerSlider can be used on any site or platform. This version does not have an admin interface, so you have to utilize coding to create and insert content. What exactly is the issue you are facing ?
In order to use LayerSlider, you have to put stuff in the <head> and Drupal has a funny way of controlling that. Drupal 7 had interfaces that took care of this, but deliving into the innards of Drupal is beyond my current skill levels...
Thank you for the feedback. I'll contact the author team with this case and let you know of their answer or decision.
If you have someone there with a Drupal background who would like to integrate this in Drupal 8, as it was in 7, I would be glad to assist, as I have some skills, but if not, I would request a refund. Thanks again.
Please open a refund request on Envato for this purchase, so we can accept it.
