After the plug in was up and running after about a week it failed to load up the images. It displayed them in a wired outline but with nothing on the inside just hollow. This was about 3 weeks ago. I then went into the site and resaved the sliders and it worked. Then about a week later it did again, but this time I installed Super Cache.This fixed it for sometime but here are the errors that I got, I also updated it to the latest version sometime last week. Judging from your description and from the errors, the problem is most likely related to the source of the images. I believe that the image sources or their paths are being interfered from time to time, that is why the slider cannot load them anymore. And once they are back to 'normal', re-saving the slider adds them again. Another possibility is that some kind of caching plugin or image optimizer solution is iterfering with the images.
Could you please check the source of the images and how they are added exactly ? Also, please look for any mentioned caching or custom optimization.
