I am getting a handle on most of what I want to do. However, I am having slide issues. When I have a second slide, even when the second slide is set to HIDE the preview smears over to the next slide. On the website it does not do this, it stays on the first slide.
I am missing something major. So if I put up a second slide that is active, the first slide does not finish its layers before it moves to the second slide. Why? What can I do to delay the first slide for as long as I want? In fact I don't even want it to automatically go to the second slide. I want the customer to do it by clicking on a button.

The slide most likely changes too soon because it has a short Duration. If your layers take longer than the slide's duration they will be pushed out and the slideshow changes to the next one. You will need to match your slide duration to the layers.
And if you don't want the slideshow to advance, you can disable the Auto-start slideshow option in the Slider Settings.
