    Hello,

I'm interested in using the new popup feature of the layerslider for alerts on woocommerce product pages.  Stuff like "on sale now" or "coming soon" using something like the infobar popup (https://layerslider.kreaturamedia.com/sliders/popup-infobar-demo/).

Before I begin work on the slide, I thought I'd better ask if this is possible since I wouldn't know where to put the shortcode.  What do you think?

    Thanks.

    Hello Oscar,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

Sure thing, you can use the popup feature for this purpose. You will need to insert the popup slider's shortcode the same way as a normal slider, or you can also use the Target Pages section. For more information about publishing sliders, please refer to the following part of the documentation: https://support.kreaturamedia.com/docs/layersliderwp/documentation.html#publishing-popups

Thanks for your reply but I asked the question wrong.  Sincerest Apologies.

I meant to ask if it's possible for the popup to display on a woocommerce product CATEGORY page (the page with all the products as thumbnails).  After your reply, I successfully added your sample info bar popup to a single product page using the shortcode but have been unable to add it to a product category page (there's nowhere to add the code - the actual text displayed when I tried).

I have also tried using filters, entering the product category slug and also the category id into "include custom pages" but it won't show up on a product category page so far..  I know it's set up correctly because if I flip the "pages" switch, it does indeed show up on actual pages I've created.

Now that I've asked the question correctly, is this possible?

    Thanks!

Ah, I see. Unfortunately I'm not completely sure if it's posssible. I'll contact the dev team to see if this can be achieved and if yes, how exactly. I'll get back to you with their answer.

Unfortunately it's not possible to filter for a whole category currently. You can only set the related pages separately.

But thank you for your feedback/idea. We will consider this additiona to the plugin in the future.
